How To Get a Cornerstone Puppy

1. Learn about our program

We want you to be informed and prepared before bringing one of our puppies into your home. Take the time to read our entire website, and engage with our social media to make sure we are a good fit for what you are looking for.

Our puppies are home-raised by our family. In addition, we follow the world-class Badass Breeder Advanced Puppy Curriculum and Puppy Culture Protocols which includes, Early Neurological Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction, loud noise desensitization, daily handling exercises, early socilization and exposure to many situations, items and soundtos. We also start potty training at 3 weeks, and crate training rotations at 6 weeks. Our curriculum is designed to help build confidence and to make their transition to your home easier. This curriculum along with our parents phenominal tempraments, and health makes our puppies potential service prospects and well adjusted family dogs.

2. Application

After you have reviewed our puppy contract, you can fill out the application HERE. Please share the primary, and secondary litter you are interested in and make sure their going home date works for you and your schedule. You can see a list of our upcoming litters HERE.

3. Phone Call

After reviewing your application we will reach out to you within 1-3 days to schedule a phone consult to answer any questions and to understand your needs better. We want to ensure we answer any questions that you have and make sure our program is a good fit for you!

4. Place a Holding Fee and Sign Contract

After your application is reviewed we will let you know your placement on the litter of your choice. We require a $500 holding fee to join the list on the litter of your choice. The holding fee is nonrefundable but does go toward the cost of the puppy. We cannot always guarentee successful pregnancys, so you must choose a secondary litter in the small chance that the primary breeding is not successful. The holding fee can be paid through mailed check, or cash if you are local. The fee must be used toward a puppy in the litter you applied for otherwise the holding fee (500) will be forfeited, and you must reapply to re-join our waitlist.

5. Now we wait!

Once you're approved and have joined our list the next step is the hardest! Waiting! We stay in communication with our families throughout this time. We also post many updates on our Instagram and Facebook.

The wait time can vary and it is based on many factors that I can't control such as heat cycle timing, litter sizes, phantom pregnancy, preterm whelping, or preferred gender, and color not being available. When you join our list you are commiting to working with us for your puppy because you see the value that our program brings. If the primary litter of choice has delays or unsuccessful pregnancy, you will be placed on the secondary litters list.
